The NABARD has sanctioned Rs. 49.55 crore for setting up of rural godowns with a storage capacity of about 1.06 lakh tonnes in the state. According to a press release, the project, to be completed by end of this year, has been sanctioned to Karnataka State Warehousing Corporation (KSWC) for construction of warehouses in Mysore, Chitradurga, Davangere, Chikmagalur, Raichur, Bagalkot, Belgaum, Hassan and Mandya districts, the press release added. —Special Correspondent
