DCP promises action against SI

Bangalore: Traffic was affected near Mayo Hall after some advocates staged rasta roko protesting against the alleged assault on an advocate by a traffic sub-inspector here on Friday.

The police said that Ravindra Reddy, the advocate, was stopped by the Indiranagar traffic sub-inspector Rama Murthy near the Belanahalli Bridge in Byappanahalli police station limits and was asked to furnish the documents of the two-wheeler he was riding.
