Fans of actor “Duniya” Vijay tried to lay a siege to the office of a local TV channel here on Sunday, angered by the TV channel’s show that was telecast on Saturday where the actor’s children were brought into a discussion regarding their father’s decision to file for divorce from his wife Nagaratna.
The Yeshwantpur police said that the fans staged a protest in front of the office stating that the children should not have been involved in such a discussion.
However, the fans were stopped at the gates of the building located in Yeshwantpur.
The police said that four of the protesters were taken into preventive custody while others were dispersed.
