Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Mysore has chalked out plans to educate voters here in the run-up to elections to the urban local bodies.

The Mysore unit of AAP, whose office was inaugurated at Vijayanagar here recently, has proposed to educate masses about the malpractices and to appeal to people here choose their representatives based performance. People would be sensitised about “vote-buying”, a release said here. The party workers intend to spread awareness among sections of society about illegal practices during elections.

The party has planned a three-pronged approach for the campaign. It includes a silent demonstration, besides door-to-door distribution of pamphlets on illegal ways of wooing voters.
