Want to get away from the hassles of the work-a-day world and have a relaxed time filled with laughter? Antharanga, a theatre troupe, is providing an opportunity for this on November 13. To mark the 31st anniversary of its formation, which also happens to be the centenary year of renowned playwright, the late Parvathavani, Antharanga is holding a daylong ‘Hasya Mela' the coming Sunday at JSS Auditorium in Jayanagar.

The programme, which starts at 10 a.m. , will feature theatre personalities including M.S. Narasimha Murthy, Hiremagalur Kannan, Richard Louis, Indushri, Yamuna Murthy, Basavaraj Mahamani and Ravi Bajantri. .

Antharanga has also lined up a five-day festival of plays called Rangollasa Utsava, from November 16 at K.H. Kalasoudha, Hanumanthnagar. The plays scheduled include Sanje Hadu on November 16, Yogdhagella Aite on November 17, Undadigunda on November 18, Bandvalvilada Badayi on November 19 and Baduku Jatakabandi on November 20.
