As many as 84,750 candidates have applied for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) for lectureship which will be held at select locations in the State on December 8.

The examination will be conducted by the University of Mysore, which is a nodal centre for K-SET examination.

The examination will be conducted for 32 subjects at 11 centres in different universities. The examination consists of three papers — Paper I, Paper II and Paper III, and all three papers will consist of only objective type and multiple choice questions, a press release from the university said. The release said that the details about syllabus, scheme of examination, old question papers and other details were available on the university website, http://kset.uni-mysore.ac. in. Details about instructions to candidates, method of OMR filing and examination centres will be available on the website in November, it stated. For more details, candidates can contact C.
