BANGALORE: Nineteen judges of the Karnataka High Court on Wednesday posted their assets and liabilities on the Web.
This is the first time in the history of the High Court that so many judges have made public their assets and liabilities.
Dinakaran not on list
Interestingly, the assets and liabilities of the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court P.D. Dinakaran, who is under a cloud for alleged encroachment of government land at Kaverirajapuram in Tamil Nadu, is not on the list.

Justice Shylendra Kumar subsequently was among the first in the country to list out his assets and liabilities on the net. After this, there was pressure from the advocate fraternity in the State and others for all judges to make their assets and liabilities public.
The judges who have declared their assets are Justices Manjula Chellur, K. Sreedhar Rao, N. Kumar, D.V. Shylendra Kumar, K. Bhaktavatsala, Mohan Shantangouder, S. Abdul Nazir, H. Bilappa, V.
