BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday said 33 judges had declared their assets and liabilities, and of them only 19 had agreed to web-host the details.
An official release by the Registrar (Judicial) of the High Court, A.P. Murari, said so far eight judges had not forwarded the list of their assets and liabilities. It said 33 judges, including the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, have declared their assets and liabilities. Of them, six, it said, have specifically stated that their statement of assets and liabilities shall not/need not be web-hosted.
The High Court, however, said it is waiting for a consensus for web-hosting of assets and liabilities of all judges. “When a consensus is arrived at among the remaining judges, the web-hosting of their assets and liabilities will be carried out by the Registry,” the High Court said.
