Shri Chandanbala Jain Bahu Mandal and Lions Club of Hubli Pariwar have jointly organised a camp this month-end to distribute Jaipur artificial limbs to 100 persons for free.

Sharada M. Singhi, president of the Bahu Mandal; Goutam Gulecha, president, Lions Club, Hubli Parriwar; and Mahendra Singhi, charter president of Mahaveer Limb Centre, told presspersons here on Tuesday that they were trying to help those who couldn’t afford to have artificial limbs lead a normal life.

Venue

Ms. Singhi said the camp would be held at Mahaveer Bhavan on Kanchagar Galli in Hubli at 9.30 a.m. on May 30. Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Sri Veerendra Heggade would inaugurate it.

Pralhad Joshi, MP-elect and Prasad Abbayya, MLA would be present, she said.

Prameela S. Bohara, Sangeet G. Gulecha and Lalitha G. Surana, office-bearers of Bahu Mandal, appealed to the people to inform those in need about the camp and said that priority would be given to the youth and women.

Needy persons are requested to submit their applications before May 25. Contact 0836-2272498.
