YSR Congress-backed candidates were elected presidents in 17 Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS), followed by Congress in nine societies and TDP in one on Tuesday.

Out of 29 PACS for which presidents were elected on Tuesday, election of presidents was postponed in Kothakota and Veeraballi. The Congress-sponsored elected presidents were: Cherlopalle - Prabhakar Raju; Tsundupalli - Ramakrishna Reddy; Thimmasamudram - Jayaramaiah Naidu; Peddiveedu - Surendranath Reddy; Porumamilla - Ramamohan Reddy; Atlur - Mallikarjuna Reddy; Lakkireddipalli - Yerram Reddy; Nooliveedu - Venkataram Reddy and Thondur - Chandraobul Reddy. Jyothi Jagadeeswara Reddy, backed by TDP support, was elected president of the lone PACS. The TDP-backed candidate Pulla Reddy was elected vice-president of Thallaproddatur PACS.

The YSRC-backed candidates elected presidents of PACS were: Narasapuram - Rami Reddy; Somireddipalle – Lakshminarayamma; Saraswathipalle - Ayodhya Reddy; Sambepalle - Venkataramana Reddy; Devapatla - Avula Vishnuvardhan Reddy; Galiveedu - Vedamurthy Reddy; Kondapuram - Ramanjulu Reddy; Thallaproddatur - Ramakrishna Reddy; Chinnakudala - Venkatanarayana Reddy; Lingala - Mallikeswara Reddy; Boggudupalli - Sudarshana Reddy; Ankalammagudur - Sekhar Reddy; Balachinnayapalli - Suresh Kumar Reddy; Marellamadaka - Sesha Reddy; Nallacheruvupalli - Gangi Reddy and Chintalamadugupalli - Chandrasekhar Reddy.

Vice-president election was postponed in six PACS.
