Hyderabad: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy hosted breakfast for three Chief Ministers of the Left -- Buddhadeb Bhattacharya (West Bengal), V.S. Achutanandan (Kerala) and Manik Sarkar (Tripura) -- on Friday.
The three CPI (M) leaders are in the city in connection with their party's three-day Central committee meeting.
Dr. Reddy received them at his camp office and introduced them to Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K. Keshava Rao and his Cabinet colleagues. Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy was also present.
Sources said the leaders exchanged views on various issues, including reforms and their impact. `Jala yagnam' also figured in it.
The Chief Minister made it a point to avoid any discussion on the panchayat poll seat adjustments as CPI (M) State unit leaders would be formally meeting Congress leaders in a couple of days.
