3,000 candidates attend campus interviews

Twelve companies select 300 candidates

Anantapur: About 3,000 young graduates and post graduates participated in the career awareness and recruitment drive (CARD) programme organised jointly by the Department of Higher Education and JNTU on the university campus on Friday and Saturday.

Of the 3,000 youth who participated in the interviews in the subsequent job mela, around 300 youth were selected by 12 corporate IT and other firms, according to the programme coordinator Bhanumurthy.

The interviews were held on Saturday by the Capital IQ Techno Soft Solutions company. In all 300 youth were selected.

The youth belonging to Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur participated in the job mela.

APSCHE Chairman K.C. Reddy and Secretary M.B. Christopher, local MLA Gurunath Reddy and ZP chairperson T. Kavitha participated as guests of honour. JNTU Vice-Chancellor Krishna Gandhi extended all the facilities for organising CARD programme on the JNTU campus.
