Yoga Healing Foundation is organising a series of free Yoga camps at various locations in the city between May 16 and June 25. The Yoga camp is aimed to spread traditional Yoga techniques in its original form and without any dilution, said A. L. V. Kumar, an advanced teacher of all traditions of Yoga and meditation.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Mr. Kumar said that techniques required to lead a healthy and happy life would be taught in the Yoga camps. “The workshops will have intense sessions demanding more effort and determination from participants. The camps will take them from the existing levels to higher levels of fitness,” Mr. Kumar said.

The camps will also feature thorough discussions on the importance of balanced diet, water, oil, salts, proteins, minerals and vitamins that are required in adequate quantities for different age groups. The camps will cover Asanas, Pranayama, Bandhanas and Mudras, Cyclic Breathing techniques to de-stress, Kundalini, Therapeutic Yoga and diet and nutrition.

The camps will be held at Deepthi Sri Nagar Colony Park, Miyapur, RRC Grounds, beside Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, L. B. Nagar, Rain Tree Park at Malaysian Township, Kukatpally, Krishnakanth Park, Yusufguda, Nature Cure Hospital at Balkampet.
