TIRUMALA: Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa offered prayers at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara on Monday along with his family members and several of his Cabinet colleagues.

Mr. Yeddyurappa walked all the way to the Vaikuntam queue complex amidst tight security from the posh Padmavati Guest House, where he was housed overnight, and reached the main entrance of the temple.

On his arrival at the temple he was accorded a warm reception by the Tirumla Tirupati Devasthanams chairman D.K. Adikesavulu, Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and other officials.

After the darshan of the Lord he also went around the Vaikunta Dwaram encompassing the inner-most sanctum along with his entourage and also made deposits into the temple Hundi.
