HYDERABAD: Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said here on Saturday that he would never do anything that would bring disrepute to Kannadigas.
His dream was to transform Karnataka into a highly progressive State during the next three years by percolating development to village level.
Responding to felicitations by the Hyderabad-Secunderabad Kannada organisations, he said Kannadigas were excelling in all spheres of life across the world. Karnataka was organising a global investors' meet on June 3 and 4 in Bangalore. The State expected about Rs. 4 lakh crore investments from all over the world, he said.
He invited entrepreneurs from Andhra Pradesh to invest in Karnataka by attending the meet and witnessing the investor-friendly atmosphere being provided by the State.
The Chief Minister announced an assistance of Rs. 1 crore for construction of Hyderabad-Karnataka Bhavan here by the Kannada organisations.
He also promised help Kannada Shikshana Samithi (KSS) that is running educational institutions here.
