A training-cum-production workshop on ‘E-Content Development’ is underway at J M J College for Women here.

The workshop was designed to provide learning experience in pre-production, production and post-production activities of multimedia e-content development on different topics in different disciplines of higher education.

Principal, Sr. Rosalina said that in the digital era of ‘anytime anywhere learning’, training teachers for utilising the latest technologies for promoting learning was of utmost importance.

Correspondent, Sr. Stella Marris said that the college has collaborated with the Department of Educational Technology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu for this mission.

The Department of Educational Technology was the first department of Educational Technology, in the country and the first teacher education department to have been recognised by UGC for its Special Assistance Programme (SAP) under Departmental Research Support, Resource Person of this Capacity Building Workshop, S. Senthilnathan also spoke.
