A two-day national-level workshop on data mining using Clementine software was inaugurated at GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam, on Friday. The workshop is jointly being organised by Departments of Information Technology and Computer Science. Inaugurating the workshop, the Principal of GMRIT C.L.V.R.S.V. Prasad said that the workshop is being organised to bring together the faculty, practicing professionals, researchers and students to share their knowledge and experience on the subject. Vibin T. Vijay in his address urged the participants to update their knowledge in data mining using new technologies. The Chairman of GMRIT Shashi Kumar advised the faculty to stay tuned to the latest technologies in data mining. The coordinator of the workshop A.V. Ramana informed that Head of the Department of CSE, AU College of Engineering M. Sashi will be addressing the participants on the software on Saturday.
