ONGOLE: High Court Judge G Raghuram has exhorted young lawyers to work with honesty and dedication to acquaint themselves with the intricacies of law and achieve success in their profession.
Addressing a state-level workshop organized by All India Lawyers Union (AILU) for the benefit of young lawyers, Mr Justice Raghuram spoke on the role of trial court advocates in the administration of justice. Saying that the record built up at the trial court would remain the same even in the appellate courts, he said that trial court lawyers play a crucial role in administration of justice.
Mr Justice Raghuram wanted the young lawyers to keep themselves abreast of latest developments, technology and always keep law and justice above financial considerations. District Judge, Bhaktavatsalam and State secretary of AILU, K Satyanarayana were present.
About 300 young lawyers from all over the state are attending the two-day workshop.
Later, M V Durga Prasad spoke on transfer of property act, Sankarappa on the art of cross examination, S Rajendra Prasad on professional skills and court mannerisms, G Ramagopal on latest judgements and law amendments, Vidyasagar on labour laws.
Earlier, K Sankar Kumar of AILU welcomed gathering.
