Telangana Nagara Samithi president Nagam Janardhan Reddy, here on Friday, felt that unity among all the political parties, organisations and leaders in Telangana was the need of the hour to build up pressure on the Centre till the separate statehood was delivered. “We cannot sit idle keeping hopes on the Centre when the leaders of Seemandhra are getting united to stall the process,” he said.
Addressing the presspersons while going to Bodhan, he said the YSRC, TDP and Congress leaders in Seemandhra in their last ditch efforts came onto a single platform to prevent Telangana.
Saying that the countdown for T-state has already begun and therefore his Nagara Samithi would launch a ten-day yatra from January 17, he appealed to youth, students and people at large to take part in it on a large scale. Mr. Janardhan Reddy said that the TDP did not clarify its stand on Telangana issue even this time and not wanted the Centre to grant separate state. Therefore, all Telangana leaders in the TDP should leave the party giving up servitude, he said.
