After successfully launching the ‘Soubhagyam’ programme, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) seems to be focused on keeping women in the forefront as ‘brand ambassadors’ to further the cause of Hindu dharma.

‘Soubhagyam’ intended to involve womenfolk to extend a traditional invitation to the public to take part in the ensuing Kartheeka Brahmotsavams at the Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanur. The TTD pressed into service girl students studying in TTD-run colleges, who walked into every household in Tirupati and Tiruchanur and met 60,000 women.

Speaking at the valedictory session of the training programme on ‘Hindu Dharma and moral values’ for girl students here on Thursday, EO L.V. Subrahmanyam announced that womenfolk associated with TTD should take the lead in spreading the essence of Hindu dharma across the globe.

Giving a clarion call to girls to dedicate themselves in the holy mission of preaching and propagating moral values as taught to them during their study period at the TTD institution, he reminded them that students enjoyed the direct blessings of the Lord of Seven Hills.
