Women make better entrepreneurs than their male counterparts as they are gifted with innate traits, says convenor of Women Empowerment Task Force, CII- AP and Director of Elico Ltd. Vanitha Datla. Addressing a seminar on ‘Odyssey –A Journey of Woman’, organised by the Women’s Development Cell of PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology, at the college auditorium on Wednesday to mark International Women’s Day, Ms. Datla threw light on the women role in business.

Stating that entrepreneurship must be entailed by the capacity and willingness to develop, organise and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit, she asked how many girls in the audience were aspiring to be entrepreneurs. Tossing a query at the young crowd, she wanted girls to spell out if they would choose to take the ‘employee street’ or the entrepreneur boulevard (Entrepreneur vs Professional Career).
