WARANGAL: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Ch. Vidyasagara Rao has demanded that the State government withdraw all the cases booked against students and advocates who have taken part in separate Telangana movement.

Stating that the intelligence network in the State has failed to assess the movement, the BJP leader said on Monday alleged that the Central government was trying to scuttle the movement by deploying more para-military forces. However, the government would not succeed in its attempts as the movement had already gone into the hands of public from the political parties. The FIR drafted by the Osmania University police indicated the attitude of the government, he said.
