Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has flagged off the weekly superfast train from Karimnagar to Tirupati from Karimnagar railway station on Thursday night. The inaugural run of this train would reach Tirupati on Friday morning at 0805. The weekly Tirupati to Karimnagar superfast train would depart Tirupati on every Wednesday from June 5 onwards from Tirupati at 22.40 hours and arrive at Karimnagar at 11.15 hours next day. In the return direction, the Karimnagar to Tirupati superfast train would depart at Karimnagar on every Thursday from June 6th onwards at 1915 hours and reach Tirupati at 08.05 hours.

En route, these trains would stop at Peddapalli, Jammikunta, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Madira, Vijayawada, Gudur, Srikalahasthi and Renigunta. The train would have one AC-II tier, one AC-3 tier, eight sleeper class coaches, six general second class, two second luggage cum brake van coaches. DRM SK Mishra, DCM Ramesh Babu, DRO Krishna Reddy, RDO Sandhya Rani and others were also present.
