To maintain transparency

It will have Internet and Intranet facility

The administration plans to upload public grievances

SANGAREDDY: Aiming to maintain more transparency in addressing the problems, the Medak district administration has been planning to launch a website. This would be ready by the second week of June.

To be designed as content management system (CMS), the website would be a collection of procedures used to manage work flow in a collaborative environment. These procedures can be manual or computer-based.

According to Joint Collector T. Vijaya Kumar, the CMS would have both Internet and Intranet facility there by creating a facility of web based communication among the district officials exclusively.

This system would allow a large number of people to contribute to and share stored data, he added.

Based on the role of stake holders access to data would be controlled.

Similarly based on the position of the concerned official, he would be allowed to use or update or edit the information.

The general public would be allowed to post complaints or suggestions to the website.

To begin with, the administration is planning to upload the grievances by scanning and posting them on the web. This would be viewed on the web by the complainant as well as the official concerned in addition to others. The official concerned has to respond to the post within stipulated time.

Fast redressal

“During the grievances day, we will get numerous applications and it will take lot of time to reach the concerned official after passing various stages. Here, we can post the information to the concerned official who will be asked to respond,” Mr. Vijaya Kumar said, adding that they were trying to establish a system which would be more transparent.
