Complaints about hoarding of essential commodities could be lodged on the website, Joint Collector Pola Bhaskar said on Wednesday.

The district administration has introduced eStock method to eliminate irregularities in the distribution of essential commodities and to ensure that the commodities reached the beneficiaries. However, if there were instances of hoarding of the commodities, a complaint could be lodged through the website's complaint box, Mr. Bhaskar said. He held a meeting with officials of civil supplies and rythu bazars.

Consumers can call 9177999876 to know the prices of vegetables at rythu bazars and if there was variation at the stalls, a complaint could be lodged.

He told the officials to mobilise more farmers to sell their vegetables at the Gajuwaka and Peda Gantyada rythu bazars.
