St. Peter’s Central School, Hanamkonda, will be hosting the Jawaharlal Nehru National district level Science Exhibition from November 10 to12.
The exhibition will witness participation from 2,000 students from 51 mandals in Warangal district.
With a theme of science and society environment, the exhibition is hosted every year with an objective to encourage students to be innovative, resourceful and to hone their scientific aptitude. This year the exhibition will be held on six sub-themes including, industry, natural resources and their conservation, transport and communication, information and education technology, community health and environment, mathematical modelling
The main objective of the science exhibitions is to provide a forum for children to pursue their natural curiosity and inventiveness, encourage children to visualise the future of the nation and help them become sensitive and responsible citizens. The projects will be judged on the basis of originality, creativity, innovation, utility and use of scientific methods.
At a press conference, the District Educational Officer, Warangal, and science fair convener H. Ramesh Babu, said the three-day exhibition will provide a perfect platform to the schoolchildren from various parts of the district to showcase their skills and scientific knowledge.
