GUNTUR: Vignan University Vice-Chancellor V Govardhana Rao on Friday released the results of national level entrance test, VSAT-2010 for admission into engineering courses.

He congratulated all those students who had qualified in the test.

While declaring the results, he said the students, who were in the top 50 ranks would be given 100 per cent fee waiver.

For those who got ranks from 51 to 100 would be given 50 per cent fee waiver and for those students from 101 to 200 ranks 25 per cent fee waiver has been announced. Professor Rao advised the students to visit www.vignanuniversity.org for results. He said all the qualified students would receive information about counseling dates and procedure through letters.

The counselling would be conducted from June 7 to 10. On the placements front he said that quite a good number of students were recruited by reputed industries. Students who secure ranks below 5,000 in AIEEE and below 2000 in EAMCET would get 100 per cent tuition fee waiver in Vignan University to promote merit, said Prof. Govardhana Rao. The last date for the receipt of applications for B.Tech admissions through direct counselling was June 30.
