The Hindu and Fortune Inn Sree Kanya Hotel organise peace walk
Nearly 600 people, half of them women, participated in the peace walk organised jointly by Fortune Inn Sree Kanya Hotel and The Hindu on Beach Road on the occasion of International Day of Peace on Wednesday afternoon.Minister for Tribal Welfare P. Balaraju flagged off the rally and Mayor P. Janardhana Reddy accompanied.
The duo led the walkers from Kali Temple to near Submarine Museum on Beach Road in a brisk walk. Chairman of the hotel K. Devallu, Joint Managing Director Gupta of Sree Kanya Group along with General Manager of the hotel Charles Kinsinger received the guests.
Students of several schools, colleges, NCC cadets, staff of Fortune Inn Sree Kanya hotel, a few walkers, parents and members of Alliance Club International took part in the rally with a lot of enthusiasm.
Among the participating institutions were Dr. L.
