VISAKHAPATNAM: The Sri Vijaya Visakha Dairy on Wednesday donated 50 cots and 100 chairs to the King George Hospital. The dairy's chairman Adari Tulasi Rao handed them over to the superintendent of KGH T. Raviraju at a function at KGH.

Mr. Tulasi Rao said 75 per cent of dairy farmers were utilising the services of KGH and watching the way the hospital was functioning for many years, the Visakha Dairy had come forward to develop the Bhavnagar ward of KGH. Dr. Raviraju said Mr. Tulasi Rao on his own had decided the dairy should help in the development of KGH and the dairy spent Rs.40 lakhs on improving the Bhavanagar ward and also taken up the maintenance of the ward for one year. Principal of Andhra Medical College C.V. Rao and deputy superintendent of KGH Somayajulu also spoke.
