T Bhanu Prasad Rao, chairman of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council House committee on Rajiv Rahadhari, has alleged that the House Committee in its report submitted to the government had stated that there were 29 violations in the conversion of Rajiv Rahadhari State Highway 1 into four-lane road.

Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, he said that the executing agency, which was converting the road into four-lane, had not followed the National highways and Road Congress norms and there were no minimum standards in the laying of the road. He said that the four-lane road should be at least 60 meters width. But, the agency was laying road with only 30 meters width, he alleged.
