The Vijaya Bank has introduced six new schemes for the customers, as festival bonanza.
The bank officials launched V-Vaibhav, V-Samman, V-Parivar, V-Dhanavantri, V-Vidya Vahini, V-Dhaanya. The schemes will cover the senior citizens, families, practicing medical professionals, educational institutions and for rice and dal mills, said Assistant General Manager P. Vinod Kumar Reddy.
V-Samman is a scheme exclusively for senior citizens with 0.75 per cent additional interest at 9.95 per cent per annum, for a one year term deposit.
V-Parivar is a savings bank deposit. The scheme revolved around a minimum of three accounts of the family, such as the lead member, spouse, children, parents and grandchildren.
Under V-Parivar, one additional free cheque book would be given to the lead member, free mobile banking and Internet banking, free international debit card for all account holders, free demat account, credit card to the head of the family and immediate credit of outstation cheques up to Rs.50,000 facilities would be extended for V-Parivar holders, said the AGM.
