Vignan University is introducing Agricultural Engineering and Petroleum & Petrochemical Engineering courses in B.Tech and Food Processing Technology and Power Systems courses in M.Tech from 2012-13.

Vice-Chancellor V. Govardhan Rao said in a press release that the courses were designed to help the students in catering to the burgeoning manpower requirement of the rapidly developing industrial sector in the State. Being a predominantly agrarian State, Andhra Pradesh requires quality manpower which can facilitate optimum utilisation of the agricultural resources. The students will also have excellent opportunities abroad. UG & PG NOTIFICATION: The admission notification pertaining to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for 2012-13 will be issued on December 1, according to the Vice-Chancellor.
