Animal Husbandry Minister Pinipe Viswaroop on Wednesday said that efforts were on to fill the vacancies of veterinary doctors in the government dispensaries at the earliest. Inaugurating the veterinary clinic building constructed at a cost of Rs. 10.62 lakh at Velangi near here, Mr. Viswaroop said that there were 619 vacancies of veterinary doctors in the State in which procedure was in progress to fill 350 backlog vacancies.The Minister also laid foundation stone for the construction of roads and drains at a cost of Rs.62 lakh at the SC Peta. MLA K. Kannababu and others were present.
