Collections in the first five days have grossed Rs. 1.10 crore
The unit members of the Telugu film ‘Veedu Theda' are in an upbeat mood over the huge collections in the first week. They are going out to the theatres in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts to interact with the audiences at the theatres on Friday. B. Chinni Krishna, who has made his directorial debut with this film, said that the collections in the first five days grossed Rs.1.10 crore and the number of prints have been increased by 60 from Friday. He said that he would promote more artistes from the city in his forthcoming film. Nikhil of ‘Happy Days' fame hoped that this film would be equally successful. The film has no double entendre dialogues and one could enjoy it along with their family members.
Pooja Bose, who is doing her first Telugu film, as a heroine in this film said that one song was shot in the city. “Though I couldn't understand the language, the senior unit members made me feel at ease,” she said. Popular anchor Beesetti Venkateswara Rao said that Visakhapatnam city and district have produced many eminent writers, lyricists. “Mr. Chinni Krishna is the first successful film director from the city,” he said. R. Appa Rao, stage artiste and comedian, producer K. Sandeep and Malla Balaram of Kancharapalem spoke.
