GUNTUR: Acharya Nagarjuna University Vice-Chancellor Y.R. Haragopala Reddy asked the university Registrar K. Viyyanna Rao to send intimation to all the affiliated colleges to provide concession and reimbursement of fee to the students from Backward Classes communities in the self-finance courses as per the Government Order 18.
A delegation of BCSF, which met the Vice-Chancellor on Thursday, demanded immediate refund of the money paid by them as fee for the self-finance courses. He promised to look into that aspect favourably. The students also wanted the concession in fee to be implemented in the SFCs as applicable for other courses. Later, at a meeting with representatives of all students’ unions on the campus Prof. Haragopala Reddy asked them to cooperate with the authorities in improving the quality of education.
The university announced the results of examinations in four M.Sc. courses held in April and the details can be seen on the university website: www.anu.ac.in, according to Controller of Examinations K. Nageswara Rao.
