Minister for Minority Welfare Mohd. Ahmedullah inaugurated a temporary Kasturba Gandhi Urdu Residential High School for girls in Indiranagar Satellite Township at Thollagangannapalle, 10 km near here, for dropouts among girl students of Urdu medium.

The temporary school would have eighth and ninth standards and SSC, with a strength of 40 students in each standard. Residents of Indiranagar apprised the Minister of their problems such as non-supply of power and LPG refills, lack of power drainage facility and non-stoppage of APSRTC buses near the colony.

Mr. Ahmedullah assured steps to direct RTC officials to stop buses at Indiranagar for the benefit of students. He called upon the allottees to occupy the houses and promised to develop it on par with the township at Kukatpally in Hyderabad.

Sarva Siksha Abhiyan Project Director Suryanarayana Reddy and Project Director of Housing Sainath and other officials participated.
