Students of the University of Hyderabad now have their own laundry system, thanks to the efforts of an MBA from the university’s School of Management Studies (SMS). Students can now get their clothes washed by using specially-made coins in ‘coin-operated washing machines’.

The system, developed by Surendhra Kesana, as a part of his project under the Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell of the university, is now a hit with students. They can now wash clothes weighing up to 4 kg at a cost of Rs. 50. The project was cleared and mentored by ED Cell coordinator P. Jyothi.
