TIRUPATI: Tirupati would be hosting a State level convention on March, 8 in which intellectuals who are votaries of ‘Samaikhyandhra' would participate and try to hammer out a detailed report to be submitted to the Justice Srikrishna Committee.

Retired IAS, IPS officers, academics, medical and engineering professionals, economists from the Seema-Andhra districts are expected to participate in the convention.

The leaders of the Samaikhya Andhra Parirakshana Samithi (SAPS) which would be organising the one-day session in collaboration with its sister organization -- Samaikhya Andhra Medical JAC were on Friday closeted here for a preparatory round of discussion ahead of the State level convention.

N. Raja Reddy, the SAPS general secretary,said it was heartening that the TRS President, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, has in a welcome change of mind agreed to lead the TRS team to submit a detailed report to the Sri Krishna Committee.

He said the SAPS would welcome wholeheartedly the Committee to Andhra Pradesh and wanted the panel members not to confine their visit merely to Hyderabad but also visit all districts in the State so that they could get a correct feel of the popular sentiment and mood.
