Two nabbed, jewels recovered

The Prakasam police arrested two persons including a con-woman and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs. 4.4 lakh from them here on Friday. The woman Sk.Saheema (26) had taken a gold biscuit and gold jewellery worth Rs. 2.80 lakh from a housewife of the Seetaramapuram area to perform pooja by a swamiji for multiplying her wealth, Ongole One Town police said. In another case, One Town police nabbed Naresh near the Gandhi road and recovered gold jewels worth Rs. 1.60 lakh.
