Two advocates have been sworn in as judges of the AP High Court on Saturday. A. Ramalingeswar Rao and D.Seshadri Naidu were sworn by Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta who administered oath and secrecy.
Asapu Ramalingeswara Rao was born in 1956 at Nidadavole of West Godavari district. He got LL.B. and LL.M. (International Law) degrees from Osmania University. After completing Post Graduate studies in Law, he was enrolled as Advocate in 1982.
He was Government Pleader and championed the cause of tribal communities. He was also a columnist in ‘Nadusthunna Charitra’, a magazine from Vijayawada writing legal articles in ‘Nyaya Peetham’.
Dama Seshadri Naidu was born in 1962 in Tirupati and graduated in Arts from Andhra University, and completed his LLB from SV University, Tirupati.
