Stolen gold jewellery weighing 100 grams, seven bikes, three laptops and electronic goods - all worth Rs.6 lakh - were recovered from two arrested persons by the Madhapur Police on Friday.


One of the accused - K. Raju, a cab driver from Borabanda, admitted to police that he stole the bikes and laptops from IT company offices and malls. The second one, Syed Zameer, an auto-rickshaw driver, had stolen a gold chain from a woman passenger of his three-wheeler.

Both the accused were arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
