Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao felicitated

RAJAHMUNDRY: Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams is going to construct a huge Balaji temple near RTC Complex at a cost of Rs.2-3 crores. This is going to be the biggest temple in coastal Andhra region, said TTD Board Member and MLA Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao.

On completion of one year as MLA in second term, he was felicitated by MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar and MLC Kandula Lakshmi Durgesh on Tuesday.

During a press conference, the MLA listed his achievements in last one year and future agenda which he set for next 12 months. He said the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple by TTD would come up on 3.5 acres and the TTD Board is going to pass the resolution at its next meeting.

The MLA said that Regional Science Museum would be established in Rajahmundry with the support of Central government shortly. He clarified that Mid-Day meal scheme would be run by ISKCON only and it would be extended to elementary schools from this year. When asked about rail cum road bridge maintenance, the MLA said that already Mr Vundavalli Arun Kumar had taken up the matter along with Havelock Bridge handing over to Municipal Corporation issue with Railway Board.

Mr. Suryaprakasha Rao said that he along with MLC, APIIC Chairman, MP and others would meet the Chief Minister K. Rosaiah on Thursday and get clearances and approvals for Rs.148-crore water scheme, stadium construction, renovation of corporation building with Rs.9 crore, shifting of central vegetable market to Morampudi junction and shifting of transport offices near STP Plant in highway.

MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar wished the MLA a grand success in his term.
