Renowned Sanskrit and Telugu scholar and an exponent in Puranas and Sasthras , Chaganti Koteswara Rao, giving a special lecture exclusively for the employees working in the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) said that they should consider themselves as extremely lucky and fortunate to be in the permanent service of Lord Venkateswara, when lakhs of devotees long and crave for His split second darshan. He exhorted the employees to show compassion and exercise patience towards the pilgrims who keep thronging Tirumala and Tirupati in large numbers undergoing in the process a lot of trials and tribulations from the moment they set out on their pilgrimage and till the time they get a glimpse of the deity. He also suggested to the TTD to put up display boards in the queue lines and the compartments highlighting the historical background of the other important places and temples around Tirupati so that besides inspiring the pilgrims to visit the places, it would also indirectly ensure a dispersal of pilgrims crowd.
L.V. Subramanyam, Executive Officer of the TTD, promised to implement the Koteswara Rao's suggestions possibly within a month and reiterated TTD's commitment for the propagation of traditional values and spiritualism through the length and breadth of the country.
Among the other participants were Joint Executive Officer, Venkatarami Reddy.
