TIRUPATI: After spreading the glory of Lord Venkateswara, the chariots deputed by the TTD management as part of the ‘Bhakti Chaitanya Yatra’ to three famous temples in the State in connection with ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ are on their way back. ‘Rama Ratham’ from Bhadrachalam will be the first to begin its return journey on April 16.

Three vehicles, specially designed to appear as chariots, carrying the prototype deities of the Lord and His consorts, were sent to Simhachalam (Vizag), Bhadrachalam (Khammam) and Movva (Krishna) on December 20.

Reviewing arrangements for the return journey on Wednesday, TTD Executive Officer K.V. Ramanachary said that the vehicles would reach Tirupati on May 25 after passing through Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Medak, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, Kadapa and Chittoor.
