The Tirumala Tirupati Devathanam (TTD) authorities on Sunday made the customary presentation of ‘Silk Vastrams’ at three major Shiva temples in the country on behalf of the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara.
While the TTD Chairman K. Bapiraju carried out the obligatory presentation at the famous Kasi Viswanath temple in Varanasi, its executive officer L.V. Subramanyam made the presentation at Srisailam – the second of the 12 jyothirlingas, followed by Tirumala-based joint executive officer K.S. Srinivasa Raju who conceded the formality at Vemulawada.
Meanwhile, authorities said that the customary presentation of the Vastrams at Srikalahasti temple would be observed on Tuesday (March 12).
