A State level meeting of the student representatives from different universities and colleges of the Telangana region will be held at Hakimpet on January 22 while a bus yatra will be taken out from January 29 in 14 Parliamentary constituencies of the region.

The decision was taken by the Telangana Students Joint Action Committee (TSJAC) at a meeting here on Thursday. The TSJAC representatives Palla Praveen Reddy, Kailash Netha and Gadhari Kishore said that the meeting to be addressed by the TRS chief, K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the Political JAC convenor Kodandaram will focus on chalking out the future programme of the students in the wake of the submission of Srikrishna committee report. Non-cooperation would be the prime agenda of the meeting

Mr. Kailash and Mr. Praveen Reddy said 14 buses will start from Gun Park on January 29 as a part of the bus yatra that will cover almost every village in the 14 Parliamentary constituencies. The students will sensitise people and the employees to be a part of the non-cooperation movement for pressurising the Central Government to introduce the bill in the Parliament. “The programme will be peaceful and students are not interested in violence,” they said.
