HYDERABAD: The Transporters and Truck Operators Federation will go on a 24-hour strike from June 12 midnight in Andhra Pradesh as part of the nationwide strike.

The managing committee of the Federation had viewed the recent hike in diesel and petrol with great concern and decided to extend support to All India Motor Transport Congress.

The Federation's general secretary said the transport industry was suffering heavily due to the hike in fuel prices and VAT.
