Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) secretary Y. Sunil Rao has accused TRS former MP B. Vinod Kumar of making false and baseless allegations against Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy only to gain political mileage on the diversion of iron ore from Telangana region to Visakapatnam Steel Plant.

Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he said that the government was committed for setting a steel plant at Bayyaram in Khammam district. But the TRS was purposefully politicising the issue to gain mileage, he charged. Charging that the TRS was only concerned about the elections and making money by selling the party tickets, he ridiculed the party for not participating in the Telangana JAC two-day dharna in New Delhi. He also said that TRS president K. Chandrashekhar Rao had never raised his voice for formation of separate Telangana state in Parliament.

KCR never raised his voice on Telangana issue in Parliament, says MP B. Vinod Kumar
