YSR invited TRS to join Government, says Narendra

HYDERABAD: Union Minister of State for Rural Development A. Narendra has said Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had proposed that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) be part of the State Government again during the recent talks over seat sharing for local body polls.

Mr. Narendra made the observation here on Tuesday while reacting to reports that AICC general secretary in-charge of State Digvijay Singh had made a similar proposal. He said, however, there was no move on part of TRS to rejoin the State Cabinet.

This was because there was no change in relations between the parties since the TRS quit the Government last year. He said the TRS would explore the possibility when it came to separation of the State.
