TRS floor leader in the Assembly, Etala Rajender, has demanded that the district administration convene the District Review Committee (DRC) meeting at the earliest to discuss several issues pertaining to the development of Karimnagar.

Stating that Karimnagar was the only district in the State which had not conducted the DRC meeting for more than two years, he said that the government had appointed two incharge ministers viz Mukesh Goud and Ponnala Laxmaiah, but none had taken the initiative for conducting meeting.

Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, along with legislator Koppula Eshwar and MLC Naradasu Laxman, Mr. Rajender asked the administration to conduct the DRC meeting before people revolted against the government. Alleging that the government was allocating more funds to the assembly segments represented by the Congress legislators, he charged the government with neglecting the development of other assembly segments in Karimnagar.
